My Story
Having grown up in a farming family, Peta spent her childhood on a property East of Mt Barker, Western Australia.
The outdoors were an adventure playground at every turn and Peta spent many hours exploring the textures and colors of the landscape and natures bounty.
After a short period at University, Peta started working in the Hospitality industry, until meeting her now husband, Max, and moving to the UK to work for a couple of years. It was whilst in Europe that Peta became enamored with art, history and culture. On return Peta enrolled in drawing classes and painting classes when time permitted whilst raising three daughters. After completing a two year acrylic painting course with Robyn Lowry, then transitioning to oil painting, Peta now has an eclectic portfolio of still life paintings, landscape paintings and pet portraits.
Peta teaches on a part time basis at Canning Art Group, limited number workshops from home and private one on one lessons.
After a successful first teaching en Plein Air painting trip to France in 2019, Peta will schedule further trips in the future.
